Nested right on the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, is the quaint town of New Hope. Ziggy & I sporadically booked a room in the town Monday night, packed our bags and were on the road within a half hour of returning home from our day jobs. We spent the following day roaming, eating and indulging in outdoor photo opps (see mushy pics below.) Cultivating New Hope’s character, are shops filled with hand crafted treasures, third wave coffee shops and quite spectacular homes that stand as art galleries. Tree’s Not far down the road from New Hope is Lambertville, which hits the senses with similar Salem meets New Orleans vibes.

We explored on a rainy Tuesday of late October, which illuminated a creepy & Halloween inspired dew to lay on top of the town. The locals embraced the time of year with decorations of ghosts and goblins galore, feeding Ziggy & I’s love for the taboo, darker aspects of experiences. The nature of the land, did not disappoint.

You could have caught us kickin’ it at various neighborhood joints with the townies… check out Vaportimme and their new age CBD products, get a taste of the grilled octopus and spiked cider cocktails at the Logan Inn, or share a Corona with a plate of Ceviche at El Tuleto to understand just how delicious this excursion was for us.

Cheers!
